UM Consumer Sentiment Holds Steady Mid-January While Gas Prices Are Falling

Consumer sentiment remained virtually unchanged in the mid-month reading by the University of Michigan Surveys of Consumers, ticking down only marginally from 99.3 in December to 99.1.
