Monthly Retail Restaurant & Bar Sales Rise To Record $83.4 Billion In April, Up 2% Thanks to Menu-Price Gains

Monthly sales at “food services & drinking places,” mostly restaurants, rose another $1.643 billion in April, seasonally adjusted, compared to March, a 2% nominal gain to a total of $83.741 billion.
